Read what parents like you are saying after working with Emma!
I am so thankful that Emma was able to be part of my breastfeeding journey. She provided knowledge beforehand that made me feel prepared and ready to go when baby came. She then was there every step of the way afterwards. Providing support with latching, pumping, and weighted feeds to make sure our baby was growing appropriately! She has such a kind, genuine personality that made me feel at ease at every appt. Thank you, Emma!!

Emma SAVED my breast feeding journey and I am overwhelmed with gratitude! Prior to giving birth, Emma brough such joy in educating me on all things breast feeding and made sure I felt confident going into feeding my little peanut once he was in the world. Almost immediately after giving birth I was overwhelmed with feeling like I didn't know what I was doing and Emma was over almost immediately. Her education along with reassurance that I was doing great kept me pushing along. In moments where I was in pain or just feel I couldn't go on any longer I would text her at ANY hour of the day or night and she was here that next day. I had many ups and downs of feeling like I wasn't producing enough, or like I was not feeding properly and now that I am 4 months along I am just so grateful that I had Emma's support to remind me that my body was doing the perfect job for my baby. HIGHLY recommend a lactation consultant in your breast feeding journey and I cannot wait to continue our journey into solid foods! THANK YOU EMMA!
Emma was such an immense help to us for our first baby boy. We were lucky enough to have her come to our house about five times. Each time, she spent about an hour with us, answering our questions, watching me as I fed him, weighing him, and making suggestions. Emma was able to see how much our baby was getting at a feed when I wasn’t sure if I was producing enough milk. She also helped so much various difficulties I had with pumping. I strongly recommend working with Emma for any feeding challenges, or even as a preventive measure!

Emma was a blessing when it came to all things breast feeding, pumping, and positioning for after feeds. She made me feel confident that I was doing my best for my baby! When there was something that we couldn’t change in the feeding process she knew a quick referral for a speech pathologist to start working oral motor exercises. She also was so quick to reply to any questions I came up with at night or on a weekend! She even gave me a resource for therapy after hearing me out about my postpartum anxiety and depression. Trusting someone to enter your home and help you with one of the most intimate parts of your body is a daunting thought, but Emma made me feel so comfortable, heard and empowered! Truly a LIGHT in my life during the newborn trenches - when you never feel “good enough.”
Emma was a lifesaver! Her first home visit was just four days after my baby was born, and I was in a very vulnerable place postpartum. I was having a lot of trouble and pain with breastfeeding and was dreading feeding my baby. Setting up the visit was so much easier than I anticipated, thanks to Emma's great communication. During each consultation, she helped me navigate the issues I was having and gave tons of helpful tips. Emma is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. I can't recommend her enough!

We had the pleasure of working with Emma soon after our daughter was born. At the time we were struggling with lactation issues. Emma was both extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. She was very attentive to our concerns and helped us develop a clear plan. Ultimately we were able to meet and surpass our goals, and we cannot thank Emma enough!
Emma was such a great support as I started my breastfeeding journey. You don't have to have issues or a problem to set up with her, she is like a bonus person on your team. She is a wealth of knowledge! I carry the information she gave me and it helps put me at ease. She is also just a text away so I know I can reach out easily no matter how seemingly small, unimportant, or silly I might think the question is. She also supports you through different stages of breastfeeding, not just that initial latch. We are really glad we got matched with her!

Emma made my postpartum experience after my daughter’s birth so much easier and enjoyable. She served as our live-in nanny, so to have her with us while she got licensed to become an IBCLC was the greatest blessing. I had some issues breastfeeding my daughter and she was able to provide me helpful tips to try and ultimately was one of my biggest cheerleaders (which means the world when you’re a new mom and are questioning everything you’re doing). Because I had such a great experience working with Emma, she was the first person I reached out to when I was pregnant two years later with my son because I really wanted our breastfeeding journey to go well. This time around I was returning to the office for work. Emma heard my concerns and provided me with specific tips for pumping so I felt well-prepared. Emma is skilled at listening to parents’ decisions and applying her knowledge accordingly to serve as the best partner new parents could ask for.
Emma was super helpful even from states away! I could not imagine trusting someone more with this new territory as a first time mom. She always took the time to explain, give examples and even look up videos to demonstrate the problem or question I had. She communicated perfectly and always made sure I understood or felt confident in fixing the issue. I am thankful for her in these first months of motherhood.
